Work Ready Program

Additional Information

The Warren-Forest Counties EOC works hand-in-hand with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and both the Warren and Forest County Assistance Offices. Participants in Work Ready must first be referred to the program by the Assistance Office.

The primary goal of the program is to assist clients in eliminating barriers to maintaining employment such as child care, transportation, or lack of soft skills. Clients will work one-on-one with a dedicated Employability Case Manager and develop a plan for addressing barriers and working toward a point where the client is ready to transition into the EARN (Employment, Advancement, and Retention Network) or exit the program and begin job searching on their own.

Activities in Work Ready may include:

  • Life Skill Development

  • Soft Skill Training & Online Workshops

  • Mock Interviews

  • Community Service Work

  • Paid Work Experience

  • Identification Documents

  • Driver's License - Written Test Prep

  • GED Tutoring
